I got this blanket for my daughter and her boyfriend for Christmas. They needed a waterproof blanket to take to outdoor concerts and for camping. It is really a nice size and well made. Great price and lots of color choices. Super fast shipping–I received it only 2 or 3 days after I ordered it.
I use this on the bed because we had a pet that was a bed wetter. It keeps the bed and sheets from getting wet. He was a rescue dog and was very anxious. He couldn’t be petted or he would crouch down and wet. Not buckets, but enough that we’d have to strip the bed and wash the blankets and sheets. We put the fleece side down and the top side would keep the urine in a small puddle which could be wiped up with a paper towel and then this blanket could be laundered. Much easier than ALL the bedding. He is SLOWLY getting better. Time between accidents is getting longer. As for the blanket, it has served the purpose very nicely. I like this windshirt along with the rest of my family. It is nice and comfortable.
This Tone on Tone Lined Windshirt exceeded my expectations. From the reviews it got, I was a bit apprehensive, but went ahead and bought it anyway. I’m glad I did. It is warm and definitely keeps the wind from whipping through you. It even keeps you dry as long as it is not pouring cats and dogs. I’m not sure how well it would work in the depths of winter; that remains to be seen, but for fall, it has been extremely helpful. With a sweater or sweatshirt underneath, it will probably work well for winter too. It is also very nice looking as well. It has a classy look to it. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t like the bulkiness of winter clothing, yet wants to stay warm and dry, and look good doing it! I’m 6′ tall, and the XXXL jacket doesn’t quite make it to my waist, and I’m pretty long of leg. The sleeves are just barely long enough as well…when I stetch out the arms are stretched pretty tight. This would be a pretty good fit for a guy in the 5′ 6″ range, or even shorter.
When I called the manufacturer’s information line prior to ordering, I asked what height the jackets are tailored for. The poor girl on the other end had absolutely no idea what I was talking about, simply kept repeating “The sizes are for chest size…”
All in all, I purchased this jacket to take to Disney World for evenings and the occasional rain shower, and it’s fine for that purpose. For daily wear, no way.
For Mississippi’s short, wet winters its hard to find just the right jacket. If it’s too heavy and you’ll be hot. If it can’t shed rain, you’ll be wet. If it’s too light then it’s no good either.
IMHO this jacket is JUST RIGHT. It is warm enough for cold Mississippi days (in the 30-40s), can handle rain and isn’t too heavy for days when a jacket is optional.
Ordering online gives the extra sweet bonus: they have just the right size and color.
When you look at this jacket, you’ll know that no fancy pants Italian designer created it. If they did, it would probably suck. The jackets form follows its function which it performs very well.

The XL is a good fit for husky guys. On initial uses the waterproofing seems to be very good. Longer term is unknown as I haven’t had the jacket that long. I’d expect better features especially in the area of pockets for this price point. Side seam outside pockets are difficult and clumsy especially if you are driving your car and want to reach in. There should be a full sized interior pocket not the dinky i-pod holder. The zip up feature on pockets is good. I suspect that this coat (even without insert) might be really hot in warmer weather but it’s been cold here so far and for that it is fine.
